Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Verdict is Out: USVI is the Caribbean's Top Gem of 2023

V.I. Dept. of Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte, expressed his enthusiasm about the accolade, saying, “It is with great pride that we receive this honor on behalf of the entire U.S. Virgin Islands and our partners. Being acknowledged by visitors, especially in such a prestigious platform, is one of the highest recognitions our tourism-centered destination can attain.”
The U.S. Virgin Islands has been on a roll this year, receiving multiple accolades. Condé Nast Traveler recognized the islands in its "Best Places to Go in 2023", while Travel + Leisure spotlighted the USVI in its list of the 50 best destinations for 2023 under the "For Beach Vibes" category. Yahoo! Life mentioned the USVI as one of the top 10 tropical islands that can be reached from the U.S. mainland in under three hours. Additionally, Travel Magazine hailed the USVI as the Best Caribbean Cruise Destination for 2023. Frommer’s also gave a nod to the territory in its annual Best Places to Go in 2023. Not to be outdone, Condé Nast Traveler editors praised the USVI for having the Best Airbnb in the Caribbean.
