Last month the 35th Legislature approved Bill 35-0416 designating Dec. 6 as a day to celebrate what was described as “the unmatched contributions of Alicia “Chucky” Hansen,” and her prowess as a perennial vote- getter.  The bill, introduced by St. Croix District Sen. Javan James, was ultimately signed into law by Gov. Albert Bryan Jr.

Alicia “Chucky” Hansen Day is not a holiday, so government workers will not have the day off. Legislature, Hansen twice ran for Government House as No. 1 and No 2. on the ticket, respectively.
