The U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Federation and the British Virgin Islands Football Association have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that officials said would have the two bodies work together on projects to strengthen development and participation across both territories.
The memorandum, announced Friday in a joint press release issued by the USVISF, was witnessed by senior officials from both FIFA — international soccer’s governing body — and CONCACAF, which governs the sport in North and Central America and the Caribbean.
