Man arrested for shooting at Legendz Lounge in February

A 20-year-old man was served with a warrant for his arrest after officers pulled him over for riding in a $65,000 BMW without a license plate, authorities said.

Ervin Noel Jr., 20, was arrested and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, carrying a firearm, whether openly or concealed, and unauthorized possession of ammunition, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.


The latest incident with Noel began at 11:52 a.m. on May 9, 2025, when members of the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) conducted a traffic stop near the Reinholdt Jackson Sports Complex (Whim Ball Park) on a black BMW 3 Series that did not have a license plate, according to the VIPD.

On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, an arrest warrant had been drawn up for Noel in connection to a shooting incident that occurred on Friday, February 28, 2025, near the Legendz Lounge in Frederiksted. town, police said.


Upon approaching the vehicle, officers made contact with the driver, and the front passenger, Ervin Noel Jr, according to police.


During the traffic stop, officers presented Ervin Noel Jr. with a copy of the warrant for his arrest – and he surrendered without incident, police said.


The driver was unable to provide documentation (driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance) for the vehicle Noel was driving in, according to police.
