According to Liberty VI General Manager Ravindra Maywahlall, the company is advancing these installations as they acquire necessary permits. “As we acquire the necessary permits, we are moving forward with our Fiber to the Home construction projects so more locations in the territory can have access to our fiber fast internet,” said Maywahlall. He assured residents that Liberty VI would keep the community informed about future installation projects as additional permits are obtained.

The work at Estate Frydenhoj will involve laying underground conduits and fiber optic cables, with construction scheduled on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Using a micro-trenching technique, crews will create narrow 1¾-inch cuts to install the fiber cables, reducing road surface disruption, pavement damage, and dust emissions. When possible, existing ducts will be utilized to further minimize impact on the roadways.

Underground installation offers protection from potential hazards, including natural disasters and vandalism, making the network more resilient.
