The Virgin Islands Archery Federation is excited to be able to finally reopen the archery range on St. Thomas. In order to do this and to create an established presence on the island, the federation has planned several events in order to celebrate, establish archery as a sustainable sport, and train people to properly shoot archery.

The present event schedule is as follows:
Saturday, December 4
9 a.m. – First Level One STM Archery Course
2 p.m. – Range Open House begins. People should feel free to show up whenever they want and try archery.
5 p.m. – First informational meeting for the future of the St. Thomas Archery Club
Sunday, December 5
11:30 a.m. – Level One STM Coaching Course (those taking this must also sign up for one of the two STM Archery courses)
3 p.m. – Archery demonstration by Tatyana Muntyan, Olympian and world champion archer
4 p.m. – Range Open House and Open Shoot
5 p.m. – First official meeting for the Future St. Thomas Archery Club
During the Week of December 6 – 10
Open Range times are announced on the federation’s Facebook page and on the club’s Slack workspace.
Rangemaster courses will be offered by the VI Archery Federation free of charge this week to those who are elected range officers of the homeschool/non-trad and future St. Thomas Archery Club

9 a.m. – Second Level One STM Archery Course (only one is necessary to become certified)

Sunday, December 12
Second STM Level One Coaching Class if demand warrants

The range is located on the grounds of Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School.
