The British Virgin Islands (BVI) is set to be featured in exciting new episodes of the Discovery Channel’s ‘Let’s Take It Outside’ with Misty Wells, airing in August 2025.
Let’s Take It Outside’ is a show that explores outdoor adventures and exotic wildlife experiences across the globe. According to the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission (BVITBFC), the series highlighted 29 local BVI brands and businesses during its six-day production in Anegada, Tortola, and Jost Van Dyke. Among the featured events was Anegada’s annual Lobster Fest, along with activities such as ATV riding in Jost Van Dyke, party cycling, hiking to the bat caves, and other unique experiences across the territory.
Film Commissioner Natalie Hodge shared the BVITBFC’s intention to showcase the BVI’s most authentic aspects by focusing on its culture. “We wanted to highlight the British Virgin Islands’ rich culture, culinary delights, and unique local brands that make this destination truly exceptional,” Hodge stated. Tourism Director Clive McCoy echoed these sentiments during a recent ZBVI radio interview, expressing gratitude to Hodge for facilitating the opportunity. “This show fits perfectly in line with what we have to offer as a territory,” McCoy said, noting the BVI’s reputation for outstanding outdoor activities.
