Father Allegedly Shoots Son to Death in Tragic Sion Hill Incident

Police and emergency services on-scene; investigation into circumstances of the tragic event underway

ST. CROIX — The V.I. Police Department is currently investigating a tragic incident in Sion Hill that resulted in the death of a young male. According to initial reports, the incident involved a father shooting his son. At approximately 12:29 p.m., the St. Croix 911 call center received a distressing call reporting that a male individual had been shot in the abdomen by his father. Upon arrival at the scene, VIPD officers found no signs of life. The Emergency Medical Services (EMS), along with VIPD forensic units, promptly responded and are currently still on-site conducting their investigation.

The VIPD has confirmed the incident and stated that further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
