Isaac Encarnacion charged with sodomizing ‘child under 13’ in Virginia

Isaac Encarnacion, 28, faces charges related to sodomizing a child under age 13 and being a fugitive from justice in Virginia, Virgin Islands Attorney General Gordon C. Rhea said this afternoon.

Encarnacion was apprehended on St. Croix last week in connection with an outstanding warrant in Virginia, according to AG Rhea.

Encarnacion appeared before the Superior Court Judge Yolan C. Brow Ross at the Kingshill Court Complex for an advice-of-rights hearing on February 13, 2025.

The hearing followed his arrest on February 11, 2025, without incident in a coordinated effort between the Virgin Islands Department of Justice (VIDOJ), Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) and the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD).
