ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The annual Rotary Club of Road Town Kiddies Fiesta makes its return next weekend.
The Kiddies Fiesta was launched this morning, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, by the club during a press conference. The Kiddies Fiesta will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Enid Scatliffe Primary School playground.
Also making a return after a short hiatus is the Kiddies Fiesta Parade on the morning of July 26, from 9:00 A.M., under the theme ‘Under the BVI Sea’. Registration for the parade is free for the first 100 entrants. The parade will feature multiple sections, each featuring different sea animals, such as sharks, fish, lobsters, and turtles.
Registration forms are being circulated, and interested persons can sign up using the QR Code on the flyers.
30-year-old event
The Kiddies Fiesta has been hosted by the Rotary Club of Road Town since 1994.
“It’s one of the club’s signature projects, exemplifying our focus on youth and families. The event, which kicks off the August Emancipation season, provides family-friendly fun,” said the club’s Public Image Chair, Roy E. Barry.
He added that through the Kiddies Fiesta, the club demonstrates its dedication to community service and youth engagement.
“Despite challenges, such as Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and the COVID period, the club continues to host the Kiddies Fiesta, demonstrating our commitment to its continuation and success.”
