Steady progress is being made on the Overland Bridge

Steady progress is being made to have the Overland Bridge completed in time for Christmas.

Photos show that the bridge has already spanned the entire river, with filling work being done at the connecting bases.

In November, Montgomery Daniel, MP for North Windward, said that the contractor had started putting the steel frame into the existing wing walls.

“The steel frame has been installed, and as the steel frame rises, the walkway’s side is also being installed.” “The construction is truly taking form and is beginning to take the shape you desire.”

Daniel stated at that time that the temporary bridges would be in place and operational by December as a Christmas gift from the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
