VI's active COVID-19 cases increase to 109; 8 hospitalized

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Active COVID-19 cases in the Virgin Islands (VI) have increased to 109 with 8 current hospitalizations as of December 20, 2021, according to the latest stats released by the Ministry of Health.

45 of the cases are local, 30 of the cases are close contacts of cases, 20 were recorded through travel screening, 6 via entry screening day 7, and 8 recorded during entry screening day 0.
