2 vehicles reportedly stolen hours apart on Tortola

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Police are said to be investigating the theft of two vehicles on Tortola, which occurred separately last night and this morning, respectively.

According to reports reaching our news centre, both vehicles have been subsequently recovered, albeit under different circumstances.

Car thief collided with motor scooter rider

Our News Centre was told that the first vehicle stolen was a white Nissan SUV and that it was reportedly taken from the vicinity of Pussers in Road Town last night, July 12, 2025.

The car thief, however, did not get very far with the vehicle as he became involved in an accident with a motor scooter on Waterfront Drive, in the vicinity of Digicel.

The driver then fled the scene on foot.

The injured scooter rider was taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
