22-year-old man charged for prohibited weapon & ammo -Carrot Bay man found with semi-automatic rifle & rounds

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Police have charged a 22-year-old Carrot Bay man with having a prohibited weapon and ammunition after a search of his residence early yesterday, Wednesday, August 17, 2022, uncovered the illegal items.

Police in a press release said Deandre Donovan will appear in the Magistrate’s Court to face the offenses of possession of a prohibited weapon and unlawful possession of ammunition at the next available sitting.

During a search warrant executed on his Carrot Bay home, police officers discovered a semi-automatic rifle along with five rounds of ammunition.
