Antilles School Seniors Achieve National Merit Scholarship Finalist Status

The Antilles School has announced that two of its senior students, Greg DeGraff and Julien Loewenstein, have been named finalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Having progressed from semifinalists in September, DeGraff and Loewenstein are now among the select group of about 15,000 students nationwide vying for scholarships worth approximately $28 million, with the winners set to be announced this spring.

Shannon Harris, Head of School at Antilles, lauded the achievement of the two students amidst a highly competitive field. "In a pool of exceptionally talented students, only 7,250 will be awarded National Merit Scholarships, highlighting the outstanding achievement of Greg and Julien on a national level," Harris stated. She further emphasized that this recognition continues a long-standing tradition of excellence at Antilles School, dating back to the Class of 1977.
