Driver getting ‘high on his own supply’ nabbed by SOB in St. Thomas

A St. Thomas motorist gallivanting around Rock City with a pound of marijuana in his vehicle was undone after cops smelled weed during a routine traffic stop.

Kenney Linton, 32, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

The case began on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at approximately 3:42 p.m., when officers from the VIPD’s Special Operations Bureau conducted a traffic stop on Veteran’s Drive after observing a vehicle with excessive tint on the front windshield, a violation of local traffic laws, according to the VIPD.
