Drowning Incident at Trunk Bay Beach Claims Life of Massachusetts Man

ST. JOHN — A leisurely swim turned tragic on Monday at Trunk Bay Beach, St. John, when 49-year-old Massachusetts resident Chris Laslocky drowned.

The V.I. Police Department reported that at around 12:30 p.m., Laslocky was swimming far from the shore when he began to struggle and took in water. Seeking refuge on a nearby outcrop, he became unresponsive
