Grenada has record breaking tourism arrivals for 2024

As 2024 draws to a close, the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) reflects on a landmark year for the island’s tourism industry, which has been highlighted by record visitor arrivals, high-profile international events, and a continued commitment to sustainability.

Building on these successes, the GTA is setting ambitious goals for 2025, focusing on further strengthening Grenada’s reputation as a premier Caribbean destination.  “This year has been nothing short of extraordinary for Grenada,” said CEO Petra Roach. “We’ve seen record visitor numbers, hosted prestigious events like the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Sustainable Tourism Conference, and significantly boosted our global visibility through awards and media coverage.”

Looking ahead, Roach emphasized that the goal for 2025 is to build on this momentum by expanding the island’s reach, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring every visitor who arrives on Grenada’s shores has a memorable experience.  In addition to hosting the prestigious Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Sustainable Tourism Conference, Grenada experienced a notable surge in visitor numbers in 2024, reaching new highs. This increase reflects the success of the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA)‘s strategic marketing efforts and the island’s growing reputation for its natural beauty, rich culture, and diverse offerings.
