In Washington D.C., Bryan Meets With Members of Congress Advocating for Inclusion in $1 Trillion Infrastructure Bill

Governor Albert Bryan had a full slate of meetings on Tuesday with various members of Congress in Washington D.C., with whom he advocated for the territory and strengthened relationships with ranking Democrats, according to a release from Government House.

The meetings largely were focused on lobbying for the U.S. Virgin Islands’ full inclusion in President Biden’s $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill and other economic development initiatives to benefit the territory, stated the release.

Mr. Bryan is said to have met with South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn, who is the House Majority Whip and Massachusetts Rep. Richard Neal, who is chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.
