Mom Accused of Intentionally Running Over Her 16-Month-Old Son After Argument with Boyfriend

Aaliyah Ross, 27, allegedly ran over her son after an argument with her boyfriend, who was also injured, police say

A Florida woman is in custody after allegedly running over her 16-month-old son following an argument with her boyfriend, who was allegedly holding the child at the time of the incident.

Authorities arrested Aaliyah Ross, 27, on Monday, June 24, in connection with the alleged attack which left the child with multiple broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung and a broken collar bone, the Polk County County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Police say Ross, of Lake Wales, Fla., and her boyfriend got into an argument which soon “escalated.” The two were reportedly having a disagreement about how to discipline one of her three children, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
