New Commissioners of Finance and Agriculture Sworn In

The swearing-in of Finance Commissioner Kevin G. McCurdy and Agriculture Commissioner Louis E. Petersen Jr. took place Thursday at Columban Hall of Holy Family Church on St. Thomas.

Family members, colleagues, supporters and friends joined McCurdy and Petersen Jr. for the ceremony, Government House announced.

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. lauded McCurdy, Petersen and Moleto A. Smith, the recently appointed executive director of the Law Enforcement Planning Commission, while securing Cabinet-level gold pins to their lapels, according to the press release.
