Public Notice: Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission to Hold Special Metting and Hearing

The Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission has scheduled a special meeting and hearing for 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21. The commission will address the License Renewal Application of VIGL Operations LLC to operate the Caravelle Hotel and Casino on St. Croix, V.I., and the License Application of VIGL Operations LLC to operate a casino at the Randall “Doc” James Racetrack on St. Croix (a racino).

The hearing is for the sole purpose of determining the qualifications of VIGL Operations LLC for a casino license renewal and a racino license, as well as determining the qualifications of individuals associated with VIGL Operations LLC who are required to be licensed

The special meeting and hearing will be held at the Fritz E. Lawaetz Conference Room, Legislature of the Virgin Islands located at 3002 Estate Golden Rock, Christiansted, St. Croix. The commission invites the public to testify at the hearing. It requires all testifiers to submit their written testimony to the commission by Feb. 14.
