These Are The Businesses That Received Funding From Bryan's $1 Million Innovation Grant Awarding Up to $50,000

The V.I. Business Development Center has released the names of the 337 businesses that were awarded Governor Albert Bryan's Small Business Innovation Grant 2022.

In May, Mr. Bryan created the $1 million fund that was administered through the SBDC, and local business owners were invited to apply with plans of how they would use the money to upgrade their business, such as by purchasing new equipment, hiring more employees or other means, said a recent release issued by Gov't House.

The awardees range from small, budding outfits such as West Gyul, to more established companies including HH Tire & Battery. Additionally, most of the businesses received only a portion of the maximum offering of $50,000, while a few, including Leatherback Brewing Co., and Connections of St. John, received the full amount.
