Three Queens Ventures Women’s Business Accelerator Program Expected to Empower Women Entrepreneurs

The Three Queens Ventures Women’s Business Accelerator Program, sponsored by SEAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Inc., is accepting applications from women entrepreneurs for the program that offers to “support, empower, advise, and train” them help their businesses grow.

he non-profit, four-month, 10-hour-per-week program will be split into weekly seminars, consulting sessions, meetings with a mentor, etc. Affectionately named after the three queens, Mary, Agnes and Mathilda, who were renowned throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands, the women represent courageous, steadfast, and hardworking leaders.

Executive Director of SEAT Caribbean and SEAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Jennifer Sequeira said she has always had a passion for entrepreneurship. “As an entrepreneur myself as well as my former role as an academician at a couple of universities my focus of teaching was entrepreneurship, minority entrepreneurs, and women entrepreneurs and a number of my research is focused in that area,” said Sequeira.
