Two Men Safely Recovered After Abduction Incident on St. Croix

ST. CROIX — Two men were reported safe after being abducted by four masked individuals Tuesday evening of March 5, the VIPD has announced.

The police department said it has launched an investigation into the kidnapping and is actively seeking assistance from the public to apprehend the suspects involved.

The incident unfolded around 5:45 p.m. along Queen Mary Highway, near the vicinity of Royal Furniture in Peter’s Rest. According to reports received by the 911 Emergency Call Center, a white or silver Toyota Tacoma quad cab executed a sudden maneuver to block a BMW SUV. Witnesses reported seeing three masked individuals exit the Tacoma, forcibly remove the two occupants of the BMW, and then speed away with them in the truck.
