VITF Schedules Reindeer Run Half-Marathon and a 5K for Sunday, Dec. 11

On Sunday, Dec. 11, the Virgin Islands Triathlon Federation (VITF) will host a half-marathon race at Cane Bay Beach, which will also include a 5K division. The Reindeer Run Half Marathon and the 5K will start at 7 a.m. in front of The Landing Restaurant and head east to a turnaround point just past Rowdy Joe’s on North Shore Road, St Croix.

Half-Marathon runners will run past Cane Bay again on their way to the turnaround point near Carambola, while the 5K runners will finish at Cane Bay when they reach the finish line. The half-marathon distance is 13.1 miles and a 5K measures 3.1 miles. Walkers are welcome in the 5K division.

A holiday-themed finisher’s award will be given to the first 50 participants who register. All participants are eligible for the top-three finishers’ awards, as well as the raffle drawing. To register by Dec. 10, go to: https://www.raceentry.com/races/reindeer-run-half-marathon-and-5k/2022/register
