VITFF Bulletin: Virgin Islanders Competing in the Outdoor Track and Field Season

Virgin Islands Track and Field Team member Malique Smith continued his outdoor Track and Field season at the Music City Track Carnival World Athletics Continental Tour, in Nashville, Tenn., on June 3. He competed in the 400m hurdles pro B section and ran a personal best of 50.64. Lowering his time by 0.7 seconds.

Smith will compete next on June 21 and 24 in Canada in the Royal City Inferno Track and Field Classic and the Johnny Loaring Classic.

Virgin Islands Track and Field Team member Michelle Smith competed in the Music City Track Carnival World Athletics Continental Tour in Nashville, Tenn., on June 3. Smith ran in the women’s 400m hurdles pro final and finished 3rd with a time of 56.83, 0.2 seconds of her V.I. National Record that she set in April 2023.

Virgin Islands National Team member Sofia Swindell competed in the Eastern States Invitational on June 4, in New Rochelle, N.Y.
