Water Spirit Resumes Freight Operations at Pier 14 in San Juan, Restoring Cargo Link to USVI and Tortola

Water Spirit Freight Services VI, Inc. has resumed operations at Pier 14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, restoring a cargo transportation link between Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. Thomas and Tortola.

The company said its vessel services have transitioned from Pier 10 to Pier 14 following a period of operational adjustments and coordination with the appropriate authorities.

According to Water Spirit, the move marks a step in strengthening cargo transportation across the Caribbean and supporting communities and businesses that depend on the company’s routes.

Due to operational limitations at Pier 14, where only one vessel can dock at a time, the company said it has implemented schedule adjustments to support efficient vessel movements.

Water Spirit’s updated routes show cargo operations have resumed at Pier 14 in Old San Juan, with Tuesday sailings from Puerto Rico arriving in St. Croix on Wednesday, St. Thomas on Thursday and Tortola Thursday evening; Friday sailings arrive in St. Croix Saturday and St. Thomas Sunday for Monday pickup. St. Croix service includes Wednesday sailings to St. Thomas, with Tortola subject to weekly updates, and weekend sailings to St. Thomas for Monday pickup. St. Thomas service includes sailings to St. Croix for Monday pickup and to Tortola Thursday evening, with vehicle bookings limited and perishable cargo accepted only during specified windows.
