We Experienced Fly the Whale's Inaugural Flight to Puerto Rico. It was Smooth and Hassle-Free.

With Fly the Whale now successfully operating flights between St. Croix and St. Thomas, the carrier expanded its services on Saturday to include daily flights to Puerto Rico from St. Croix.

Unlike its competitors, Fly the Whale isn't taking passengers to the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. Instead, the carrier flies customers to the Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport, also known as Aeropuerto de Isla Grande. This airport is near Puerto Rico's major cruise port and all major activities, including the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport on the island commonwealth.

The route is also hassle-free, with the deboarding and customs process being the simplest this reporter has experienced.

The Consortium was part of the inaugural flight on Saturday morning. The experience, both to and from Puerto Rico, was fast and smooth, comparable to other flights but with much more scenic views as the aircraft enters Puerto Rican airspace.
