Day proclaimed for Issa Trust Foundation in New York

Mayor Eric Adams of New York City made May 11 a memorable occasion by declaring it Issa Trust Foundation’s Day in the city, setting the stage for a successful charity event.

Named the ‘For the Children Gala’, the gathering aimed to raise funds for the construction of the Mary Issa Paediatric and Adolescent Health Centre in Runaway Bay, St. Ann. Distinguished guests included Jamaica’s Speaker of the House of Representatives Juliet Holness and Lady Allen, the wife of the Governor General.
