Guyana: 2 staff members detained after prominent doctor found dead

Prominent medical doctor, Colin Roach, was found dead in his Kingston, Guyana office last evening. According to police, Roach was last seen alive by two of his employees after they had closed his International Medical Clinic office around 3 pm.

Cops reported one employee, who lives on the compound, retired to his quarters while the other left to run an errand.

Shortly after 8:15 pm, lights were observed in the doctor’s office and that’s when a staff member tried to contact him to see if he was still on the compound.

When no answer was received, both staff members entered the office and found the 49-year-old’s body in a pool of blood.

Both staff members have been detained for questioning.

Cops are also looking for a man who was seen exiting Roach’s twice shortly after 8 pm.
