All the action took place on St. Croix this weekend in the U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Federation’s men’s and women’s Premier League matches.
In the men’s Premier League at the Bethlehem Soccer Complex, division leader Rovers Soccer Club (8-0-0, 24 points) rolled past Prankton Soccer Club (0-0-8) 9-0 on Sunday. Meanwhile, in the 7-on-7 Women’s Premier League, the Lady Rovers Soccer Club (9-0-0, 27 points) beat the St. Croix Kestrels (2-1-6, seven points) on Sunday 3-0. In the second match, Championship Athletic Performance Academy (1-2-6, five points) and Prankton SC/340 Women’s Soccer (4-1-4, 13 points) battled to a scoreless tie.
The scheduled “end of round” final between St. Thomas division frontrunners LRVI Football Club and defending Premier League champion New Vibes Soccer Club, both tied at 7-0-1 (21 points), was rescheduled for Thursday at the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School field.
