VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Defending champions Set It Off started off the defence of their title with a loss on the opening night of the 2023 VG Summer Jam at Jeffrey Caines Arena in Virgin Gorda.

Set If Off were upset by Ice Connection, 73-76.

Stephano K. Paul led Ice Connection with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal. His teammate William Penn Jr netted 16 points, pulled 3 rebounds, made 3 blocks, and effected 2 steals. Shaken Tyson contributed 14 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

Set It Off’s attack was led by Travis A. Issac, who had a game-high 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists.

Ray D. Victor dropped in 19 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2 assists.
