USVI National Swim Team Competes Well at CARIFTA Aquatic Championships in Curaçao

Nineteen members of the U.S. Virgin Islands National Swim Team competed in the 2023 CARIFTA Aquatic Championships in Curaçao from April 6-10. Seventeen of these 19 swimmers competed in the pool competition from April 6-9, and four competed in the open water 5K race on Monday, April 10 (two competed in both pool and open water). These four open-water swimmers are Kaeden Gleason, Evan Dykstra, Kalonji Von Schilling-Royer and Veronica Leinenbach.

The 19 total swimmers include Lindsay Barr, Nicholas Crikelair, Zoe Danet, Madelyn Donnelly, Evan Dykstra, Gaby Evora, Kaeden Gleason, Teague Gleason, Sawyer Holley, Zion John Baptiste, Veronica Leinenbach, Daryan Maynard, Diella Maynard, Lisa Melwani, Riley Miller, Kameryn Padgett, Sasha Poe, Reagan Uszenski and Kalonji Von Schilling-Royer.
